Aleks is a passionate young footballer whose life took an unexpected turn when he was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma at the age of 5. Despite facing this challenging diagnosis, Aleks has maintained his love for football and his determination to overcome every obstacle in his path.
Before his diagnosis, Aleks was known for his lightning-fast moves on the football field, his team spirit, and his unwavering dedication to the sport. These qualities have served him well throughout his treatment journey, as he approaches each challenge with the same determination he shows on the pitch.

What is Ewing Sarcoma?
Ewing Sarcoma is a rare type of cancer that usually starts in the bones, but it can also develop in the soft tissue. It most often affects children, teenagers, and young adults, typically between the ages of 10 and 20.
This cancer belongs to a group called the Ewing Sarcoma Family of Tumours (ESFTs). The disease is named after Dr James Ewing, who first described it in the 1920s.
Ewing Sarcoma most commonly starts in the pelvis, thigh bone (femur), or other large bones in the legs or arms. However, it can occur in any bone, and less often, in soft tissues.
